McALESTER — Kiowa High School graduate Katy Clift has become only the sixth student at Oklahoma Christian to be named to the first-team list for Capital One’s Academic All-District 7 for college division women’s basketball.

Clift is a guard OC, where she has a perfect 4.0 grade point average. A senior majoring in English writing, she was selected for the honor Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America, the group that votes on the award.

The daughter of Elaine and Keith Clift of Kiowa, Katy Clift is a 2008 graduate of KHS where she played guard for the Kiowa Cowgirls.
