MHS chearleading tryouts coming soon

McALESTER — A mandatory parent meeting for all those interested in trying out for any McAlester Public Schools cheerleading team will take place Monday at 7 p.m. at the McAlester High School Lucy Smith Center. Cheerleading sign-ups are available in the office.

For anyone entering the seventh through 12th grades in August 2013, a chearleading tryout clinic will be offered March 11-12 at the Lucy Smith Center from 4-5:30 p.m. The clinic will cost $20 and will include a t-shirt and CD.

An open practice for anyone trying out for seventh through 12th-grade cheer will take place at Bob Brumley Gymnasium on March 13 from 2:30-4 p.m. MPS cheer tryouts will take place on March 14 at Bob Brumley Gymnasium at 4 p.m. and will be open to the public.
