    The Pittsburg County Little League season is nearly over. The Big 13 division began its week-long championship tournament Monday, and the other divisions’ final tournaments begin next week.

    Texas starter Aaron Fletcher limited Tennessee to one run on four hits, and Texas’ offense belted out three home runs to run-rule Tennessee in the third-place game of the 2013 Jr. Sunbelt Championship at Mike Deak Field in McAlester, 5-3 in five innings.

    Arizona beat Colorado in Wednesday's championship, 5-2, for the state's first Jr. Sunbelt Classic title since 2008. Having joined the Sunbelt in 2009, Colorado had never qualified for the finals before this year.
