Championship: Arizona 5, Colorado 2
Arizona beat Colorado in Wednesday's championship, 5-2, for the state's first Jr. Sunbelt Classic title since 2008. Having joined the Sunbelt in 2009, Colorado had never qualified for the finals before this year.
Arizona starting pitcher Calvin Lebrun limited Colorado to two runs on six hits, and Arizona never looked back after a three-run bottom of the third, beating Colorado in Wednesday’s 2013 Jr. Sunbelt Classic championship, 5-2, at Mike Deak Field in McAlester.
Already up 6-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Texas sent 10 men to the plate, scoring five more times and ultimately run-ruling Canada in five innings, 11-3, in Tuesday's Jr. Sunbelt Classic game at Mike Deak Field in McAlester.
Caleb Eldridge (from Deer Creek) hit a two-run home run for Oklahoma Gold, and teammate Joseph Nemecek (Byng) reached base four times to lead Gold to a 9-5 win against Oklahoma Blue in Tuesday’s final round-robin game of the Jr. Sunbelt Classic at Mike Deak Field in McAlester.
