Buffs run Idabel for Homecoming

McALESTER — On Homecoming night at Bob Brumley Gymnasium, the thunder of the Buffaloes and Lady Buffs proved too much for the visiting Warriors and Lady Warriors of Idabel. The come-from-behind McAlester varsity boys posted a 71-68 win and the Lady Buffs’ 66-59 final made a sweep of the varsity action.

With the wins, the Buffaloes moved to 11-7 on the season, the Lady Buffs improved to a very respectable 13-5, and both squads picked up Southeast Six Conference wins.

McAlester next plays Tuesday evening in Durant. The girl’s varsity game is scheduled to tip at 6:30, with the boys varsity game to follow.
