PITTSBURG — The Milburn Eagles concentrated on stopping Haileyville center Bryer Stites, as most teams have done this season.
James Savage made them pay.
Savage scored 27 points, powering Haileyville to a 73-52 win over Milburn in the first round of the Dee Foster Invitation on Thursday at Pittsburg.
Haileyville’s girls couldn’t match the boys, falling to Braggs in the first round, 57-29.
