McALESTER — On Saturday, “Team Rundown,” of McAlester, wins the 2012 Adult Amateur Softball Association of America (ASA) Coed Softball State Championship in Norman. They won their first round game by a score of 19-18, the second round game by a score of 16-7 and the third round game by a score of 11-9. They advanced to the finals where they needed one win before two losses to win it all. They lost the first game of the finals by a score of 11-9 and won the deciding game by a score of 11-8. All games went 7 innings. This is their first state championship as a team. Future Stars camp coming in June
Future Stars Athletic Training will offer a four-day basketball camp from June 3-6 for children in kindergarten through the eighth grade. The camp will cost $50 and will take place at 1609 N. Strong Blvd., Suite 500B.

The Pitt 8 Conference has announced its All-Conference baseball and slowpitch softball teams. Stuart won the conference in both spring sports, while Crowder was runner-up in both.
