McALESTER — A single high-quality server can often swing a volleyball match his or her team’s way. When every server on a team can put the ball in play consistently and aggressively, the match usually ends pretty quickly.
The Norman Tigers split 20 aces between six different servers, powering them to a three-set sweep over the McAlester Lady Buffaloes Thursday at Bob Brumley Gymnasium. The Tigers won their first two sets 25-10 and 25-14, then came back from seven-down to win a seesawing third set, 29-27.
