McALESTER — Does your kindergartener’s eyes widen every time Kevin Durant comes on TV? Are you already searching for a fake beard for your second grader’s James Harden Halloween costume? Do you have a 7-year-old who can already dribble between his or her legs?
If the answer’s yes, the Future Stars Athletic Training youth basketball league may be just what your aspiring NBA superstar needs.
The league will begin with an FSAT training camp from September 24-27 to introduce children in kindergarten through second grade to basketball’s fundamentals. The camp will take place from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Stipe Recreation Center in McAlester.
