• McAlester volleyball heads to Okay for a varsity tournament

• McAlester seventh-grade volleyball, meanwhile, heads to Noble for a tournament of its own

• Quinton faces Coalgate in the semi-final round of the Tushka Invitational softball tournament at 12:45 p.m.. Should the Lady Savages win, they'll play in the finals at 4:40

• Canadian football (1-0) plays at Seminole JV at 7 p.m.

• Stuart's baseball tournament concludes today, as does Kiowa's softball tournament

Future Stars camp coming in June
Future Stars Athletic Training will offer a four-day basketball camp from June 3-6 for children in kindergarten through the eighth grade. The camp will cost $50 and will take place at 1609 N. Strong Blvd., Suite 500B.

The Stuart baseball field will host a five-day baseball camp that starts Monday at 8 a.m. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to noon each day and costs $50.

Cowboy Caravan coming to McAlester
Oklahoma State Cowboy fans will have the chance to hear from OSU football defensive coordinator Glenn Spencer, head women’s basketball coach Jim Littell and head women’s equestrian coach Larry Sanchez as part of the 2013 Cowboy Caravan. The caravan will stop in McAlester on Thursday, May 23, at Pete’s Place, located at 120 SW 8th St. in Krebs.
