McALESTER —
Two local residents recently pleaded guilty in relation to a large meth lab bust.
Donnie Lane Bailey, 31, of McAlester, and Chelsea Renea Samuels, 23, of Krebs, were two of seven people arrested and charged in relation to a meth lab bust in a McAlester home on North 12th Street on May 9.
Bailey and Samuels both pleaded guilty June 26 to an amended charge of conspiracy to possess methamphetamine.
They were fined $680 each and judgment and sentencing was deferred for both Bailey and Samuels.
According to court records, District 18 Narcotics Task Force agents executed a search warrant at the McAlester North 12th Street home and found numerous items associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
