• October 2012 (Pittsburg County) — Charged with first degree rape (victim younger than 14 years of age). Case pending.
• August 2011 (Pittsburg County) — Charged with second degree burglary. Pleaded guilty and received a seven-year suspended sentence.
• November 2010 (Pittsburg County) — Charged with public intoxication. Pleaded guilty and fined.
• June 2010 (Pittsburg County) — Charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Case dismissed without costs.
• September 2009 (Pittsburg County) — Charged with public intoxication. Pleaded guilty and fined.
• May 2008 (McIntosh County) — Charged with public intoxication. Pleaded guilty and fined.
• November 2007 (Pittsburg County) — Charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Pleaded guilty and sentenced to one year, with all but the first 60 days suspended.
• January 2007 (Pittsburg County) — Charged with second degree burglary. Pleaded guilty and sentencing was deferred for five years.
• April 2006 (Pittsburg County) — Charged with knowingly receiving stolen property. Pleaded guilty and sentencing was deferred for two years.

McAlester man accused of rape

McALESTER — A McAlester man was recently accused of raping a 13-year-old girl.

Jeremy David Husman, 26, was charged Wednesday in Pittsburg County District Court with one count of first degree rape (victim younger than 14 years of age).

According to court records, Krebs Police Officer Elijah Hass was contacted by the McAlester Police Department regarding a report of a rape. A police affidavit indicates that Husman met the 13-year-old girl via Facebook.

The girl was staying with a family member in Krebs On Oct. 27 when she called Husman on the phone, the affidavit states. “She asked the suspect if he wanted to hang out. They made arrangements to meet at Deerinwater Park in Krebs,” the affidavit states.

The girl told authorities that she met up with Husman in the park. She allegedly began kissing him and the kissing allegedly led to sex, the affidavit states. The girl told police that she knew Husman was 26 years old and that, after she had intercourse with him, she told him she was 13 years old, the affidavit states.

“She then said Husman started to cry because he thought she was 17 fixing to be 18,” the affidavit states. Police checked the girl’s Facebook page, according to the affidavit, and determined that her posted age on the page showed she was 14 years old.

Police then interviewed Husman and placed him under arrest.
