Antek Homa No. 2, Order of the Eastern Star has new member

On June 11 the Antek Homa no. 2 Order of the Eastern Star welcomed Tammi Bedford as their newest member.

The organization is a charitable and social organization open to men and women; however, one must be related to a Mason to join. The group supports the Masonic Lodge and participates in fundraisers throughout the year to support those in need. The Antek Homa No. 2, Order of the Eastern Star raises funds to help support the Oklahoma Research Foundation and Shiner’s Children Hospital. According to worthy matron Mickey Pierce, the group is also collecting “pop tops” to raise money for diabetes research.

The initiation of Bedford as attended by Mickey Pierce, worthy matron; Pat Reamy, worthy patron; Wanda Rodriguez, associate matron; Rod Rodriguez, associate patron; Zula Reese, secretary; Jean Newman, treasurer; Kathy Timmons, conductress; Lois Kannady, associate conductress; Bob Barnett, chaplain; David Timmons, marshal; Jean Hatfield, organist; Judy Becker, Adah; Rose Barnett, Ruth; Joann Williamson, Esther; Georgia Dickey, Martha; Jeanie Franklin, Electra; and Darlene Murphy, warder.
