PrimeTimers do a triple play for June meet
First Baptist Church PrimeTimers chose three special events to recognize during the month of June: the beginning of summer, Flag Day and Father’s Day. There were 79 members present for the meeting.
Dub Brown, president, was in charge of the meeting. Charlie Hale gave the opening prayer. Decorations were provided by Donna Prock and Mary Ann Fabry.
Entertainment including gospel music was provided by Kristian Sartin and her band Sweetwater, of Crowder. Band members include MaKanoan Sartin, Madison Sartin, Lilly Rose Sartin, Shanna Sartin and Debbie Denny.
Erma Dunn, secretary, read the minutes if the May meeting. Zoe Henley, treasurer, gave the financial report. Elaine Brown, travel chairman, discussed travel opportunities.
Others attending the meeting included Ghyta Abrams, June Allen, Eudell and Marveda Barnes, Hazel Beckham, Leon and Freda Barnard, Shirley Braswell, Leonard and Christine Briggs, Joyce Carlson, George and Francis Carman, Jim Cecil, Joan Cheek, Buddy and Debbie Cook, Mary Deerinwater and Leonard Dunn. Also attending were Bill and Juanita Ellis, Pokie Everett, Ann Everly, Joyce Fergason, Jean Ferrell, Frank and Sara Fisher, Sharon Franks, Orval Free, Jo Ann Grippando, Joyce Hale, Clyde Heathcock, Bill Henley, Guy Hooser and Dorothy Johnson. Betty Kostankewich, Alta Lake, Spec and Betty Little, Tina McClure, John and Barbara McPherson, Dusty Norman, Wanda Petete, Ruby Pink, Dorothy Shirley, Bea Walker and Linda Wood also attended the May meeting. Donald and Francis Wooten, Jennie Cinocca, Janice Cinocca, Jim Bowling, Linda Lowber, Laverene Smith, Velva Smith, Chuck and Carol Stevens, Margaret Strange, Joe and Deyne Tannehill, Bernice Turnbo, Marie Urbatis, and Emerson and Ruth Virden attended the PrimeTimers May meeting.
Brown asked for asked for special prayer requests. He then dismissed the meeting with a prayer.
