Dinner set to honor Girl Scouts

Former Miss Oklahoma is keynot speaker

Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma will host former television reporter and 2004 Miss Oklahoma Elizabeth Kinney Stidham as the keynote speaker for the inaugural McAlester Juliette Low Leadership Society Luncheon April 23.

The luncheon is set from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pete’s Place in Krebs. To attend, contact Kami Collins at 800-707-9914 ext. 202 or e-mail kcollins@gseok.org.

The Juliette Low Leadership Society provides financial and leadership resources to girls in 30 eastern Oklahoma counties. To this end, the society’s scholarship chair, Vani Singhal, will award nine graduating Girl Scouts $1,000 higher education scholarship during the luncheon.
