Kelbie Kennedy and Trevor Mintz were recently crowned Eastern Oklahoma State College’s 2009 Homecoming King and Queen. Popular votes were cast for each candidate, and an interview process was conducted for each. Both Kennedy and Mintz won the popular vote as well as the interview process. Kennedy is from Buffalo Valley and represents the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She is the daughter of Jackie and Brenda Kennedy of Buffalo Valley. Her grandparents are Byron and Gertrude Bohanon; Johnny and Laverne Kennedy of Yanush. Mintz is from Shady Point and represents the Bass Club. His parents are Rick and Angela Mintz of Shady Point.
