Local students win at OMTA audition

Local winners of the recent OMTA Junior Auditions in the Muskogee area were Julia Stizza, grades 5 and 6, and Esther Salters, grades 7 and 8, with John Raunikar as alternate in grades 5 and 6. The winners performed on Nov. 5, at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee where they were presented a trophy for their memorized piano solos. The audition is sponsored by the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association, and all three study piano with Debbie Brown of McAlester.
