McALESTER —
The Talihina Chamber of Commerce will host their fifth annual Back to School Bash, Family Fun Time on Aug. 6.
The fun will began at the Swimming Pool and Baseball Field in Talihina, at 6 p.m. and will continue until 8 p.m. As the name implies, there will be fun things to do for all ages. There will be four inflatable water slides, swimming in the swimming pool, and food and cold drinks for everyone.
Donations from businesses in the area helps keep the cost down, making this event possible for children 14 and younger to enjoy.
The Town of Talihina sponsors the swimming pool and Brian McClain will be providing the great music again this year. The cost for each child will be $10. Arm bands will be provided so that children can come and go freely, between the food, swimming pool and water slides without any hassle.
Moms and dads are welcome to bring children out and have a family fun time, visiting with friends and watching you children have a good time.
