McALESTER —
A McAlester man has been sentenced to what amounts to 14 years in prison followed by another six years of probation in the wake of his conviction late last year on federal complaints related to selling crack cocaine near a McAlester school.
Gerald Wayne “Duck” Green, 64, of McAlester, was sentenced to 186 months in prison, followed by 72 months of supervised release. Green was convicted on charges of distribution of cocaine base, also known as crack cocaine, within 1,000 feet of a public school or playground, according to Eastern District of Oklahoma’s U.S. Attorney’s office.
Federal Judge Ronald White passed the sentence in the Eastern District of Oklahoma U.S. Courthouse in Muskogee.
