The McAlester eighth grade band recently traveled to Southeastern Oklahoma State University to compete in the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association Concert and Sight Reading Contest, where for the 30th consecutive year, the band earned Superior ratings in concert and sight-reading performance.
