Keith Doyel told a group of men and boys on Wednesday there’s a tradition in the Lutheran Church around Easter, when a speaker will get up and say “He is risen.”
As Doyel spoke the words, many of the men and boys assembled at All Saints Episcopal Church echoed the words “He is risen” in unison. Doyel addressed the group of 117 as they ate a breakfast of pancakes, sausage and orange juice during the third in the series of Holy Week Breakfasts.
