Mr. and Mrs. Tobe Irwin are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ashley Irwin to Jonathan James.
Irwin is the daughter of Tobe and Angela Irwin of McAlester. She is the granddaughter of Thomas and Nola Irwin, and Tommy and Wanda Burk, and also the great granddaughter of Bernice Johnson and Verna Irwin, all of Hartshorne.
Irwin is a 2006 graduate of McAlester High School and is currently attending Northeastern State University in Tahlequah.
James is the son of Julie Condon of Destin, Florida, and Sam and Penny James of Valliant. He is the grandson of Mr. C.L. and Alta Smith, and the late Clare Mae Walker, all of Valliant. He is the great-grandson of Mrs. Inez Julian, also of Valliant.
James is a 2001 graduate of Valliant High School.
The ceremony will be held on Oct. 10, 2009 at 4 p.m. at the Broken Bow Amphitheater. Elder Davie Jones, great-great uncle of bride, will officiate.
