Dallas Puppet Theater Sets Free Show Saturday at McAlester Public Library

McALESTER —

The “Holiday on Strings” puppet show from the Dallas Puppet Theater will be at McAlester Public Library on Saturday for a free performance open to the public.
Activities begin at 2 p.m. in the Whiteacre Room, and the show starts at 2:45 p.m.
“We will have refreshments, music and lots of fun for the whole family,” said Children’s Librarian Anita Ross. “This will be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.”
The Dallas Puppet Theater is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advancing the performing, visual, and creative art of puppetry through an ongoing series of family performances, guest artists, school programs, workshops and outreach programs.
This season, they have performed at Richland Hills, Texas; Hurst, Texas; and the Dallas Public Library.
“Don’t forget that this is not our only holiday program this season,” Ross said.
“Santa Claus will be here Dec. 19 for photos with the kids, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:30-5:30 p.m.”
