McALESTER —

A group of citizens from the town of Stuart want the entire board of Hughes County Rural Water District 2 to resign. The citizens are members of the Community Impact Panel which was formed after “the water crisis of 2011” said Ronda Talley a member of the group.

“This board blatantly ignores our requests, they ignore their own by-laws and erect one roadblock after another in an effort to deny us the right to vote the current board members out of office,” Talley said.
