McALESTER —
The McAlester Literacy Council is offering tutor training to those who would like to help adults improve their reading and writing skills.
The six-hour workshop will be held Aug. 13 and 14 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the McAlester Public Library.
The workshop is free, learning materials are provided and there is no cost to any learner or volunteer tutor. Join the McAlester Literacy Council in the fight against illiteracy.
