McALESTER — Santa left the elves in charge at the North Pole on Thursday to make a special trip to visit Klever Kids Academy.
Christmas music played as nearly 60 parents and children gathered at the center to eat Christmas cookies and sip milk as while they waited for Santa’s big entrance.
When Santa arrived the children lined up and waited their turn to sit on his lap. Gracie Gibson, 3, with a red bow in her hair, smiled as her turn came and bravely climbed on Santa’s lap and whispered what she wanted for Christmas. Others like Carson Johnson, 3, weren’t so sure and decided to talk to Santa while standing in front of him. Hayden Harvison, 3, dressed in a cowboy hat and boots, told Santa right away what he wanted,“ I want a baseball bat and a baseball glove,” he said.
Kyleigh Tollman, owner of the center said this was the first Christmas party for the center which opened earlier this year.
