McALESTER —
The McAlester Fire Department and the Pittsburg County Firefighters Association are hosting a fundraiser this weekend at Walmart Supercenter to raise money for the local chapter of the American Red Cross.
“We’ll be at Walmart Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. collecting donations,” said McAlester Fire Chief Brett Brewer. “The Red Cross helps disaster victims and they are a big help to the firefighters and we want to return the favor.”
