According to McAlester Police reports, Sonic, Atwood’s and a man who had a garage sale all report being handed counterfeit $20 dollar bills, recently.
The counterfeit report that was taken at Sonic on June 23, is now closed and is unrelated to the counterfeit reports taken from Atwood’s and the garage sale. However, the serial numbers from the counterfeit $20s found at Atwood’s and the garage sale were matching, Det. Capt. Gary Wansick said...
