McALESTER —
It’s still not too late to vote for McAlester’s Make A Difference Day in a national competition to select a $10,000 award-winner — and this is one time you really can vote early and often.
McAlester’s Make A Difference Day project is among nine finalists nominated for the Make A Difference Day All-Star Award. The award includes $10,000 which can be donated to a local charity.
Internet voting for the Make A Difference Day All-Star Award extends through Feb. 29, after starting on Feb. 15, with voters allowed to vote once a day throughout the voting period. “You can either go to facebook and friend McAlester Make a Difference Day and follow the link, or you can go the makeadifferenceday.com website and vote,” Condit said.
