Marlin Landry says during a mission trip he once took to the former Soviet Union he learned that many things taken for granted in the United States aren’t the same in other countries.
Landry, of the First Baptist Church, spoke to men and boys assembled at the United Methodist Church Grand Avenue Campus during Tuesday’s Holy Week Breakfast.
As those attending the event finished up on a meal of scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, bananas and orange juice and coffee, Landry spoke of the conditions he had seen while visiting Russia.
