McALESTER —
Thursday night, Court Appointed Special Advocates hosted a fundraiser game at the McAlester Expo Center featuring the CASA Heroes against the Harlem Ambassadors.
The CASA Heroes was a team made up for the purpose of the fundraiser of local business owners and public service officials such as Mayor Kevin Priddle, Choctaw social worker Kim Baca, Assistant Chief of the Choctaw Nation Gary Batton and more.
The Harlem Ambassadors is professional show basketball team designed for family-friendly community fundraisers.
According to the Ambassador website, it was established in 1998 and has partnered with hundreds of non-profit organizations in all 50 states and 19 foreign countries.
