McALESTER —
An Oklahoma City man has been charged with five different felony drug charges for alleged illegal activity in McAlester.
On Thursday, Anthony Dexter Washington II, 26, was charged in Pittsburg County District Court with five different drug related felonies, including possession of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Marijuana, Lortab and Xanax.
According to court records, Washington was at the West Ridge Apartments in McAlester on Jan. 14 and allegedly had a variety of drugs in his possession. He was arrested on that day and booked into the Pittsburg County Jail, according to the Pittsburg County Sheriff’s Office daily inmate list.
Washington is being held at the jail in lieu of a $145,000 bond and was unavailable for comment at presstime today. If convicted of these crimes, he faces up to life imprisonment. He is due back in court on Feb. 3 to face charges.
