GED classes offered

McALESTER —

The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma will be offering GED classes for the Latimer County area beginning Monday. Classes will be in session Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Choctaw Nation Community Center at 515 Center Point Road in Wilburton.

The class will meet twice a week for approximately three months. In addition, a $10-per-day transportation stipend is paid to those who attend the classes on a regular basis and attempt the GED test.

Registration will be available the first day of class. A Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood is required.
