Hundreds of local high school seniors got a taste of college life Nov 7 when they visited Eastern Oklahoma State College for Mountaineer Mania in Wilburton. Approximately 425 students from more than 30 area high schools were on campus for a day of fun, food and information. Eastern Vice President of Academic Affairs welcomed the students and spoke about the variety of academic programs, affordable tuition and quality professors that make the college special. Eastern students and faculty provided information and answered questions about their organizations and academic programs, as well as lead campus tours. The high school seniors also enjoyed an outdoor picnic lunch, free t-shirts and other prizes.
