McALESTER —
City councilors plan to consider paying a private company thousands of dollars to come up with a new brand, and plan, for McAlester.
That’s among the items on the city council agenda, set for 6 Tuesday night in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
The proposed measure calls for the city council to consider and act upon an agreement with Marketing Alliance for Professional and Creative Services to develop a McAlester logo and marketing plan for $18,500.
On another agenda item for the Tuesday night meeting, city councilors plan to consider getting entirely out of the roll off/compactor business. The agenda item calls for city councilors to consider and act upon approving a move to privatize the city of McAlester’s entire temporary and permanent roll off/compactor work within the city limits.
