This is in regards to a story that was in your newspaper a while back. It was about Oklahoma Chief Justice Steven Taylor. He was being sworn in as the new chief justice of Oklahoma. Apparently, they usually have festivities to go with this honor, which apparently meant spending quite a bit of money. -
Letter to the editor: McAlester's blue trash cans must (not) go
A few days ago a letter appeared on the opinion page that at first intrigued me; then, after some thought, I agree with it totally. The big, blue trash containers must go; they are an eyesore.
