Editor:
Ms. Reimer, in reference to your article, Michael Vick is paying what he should for the felony crime that he did. Animal abuse is rampant, and the Humane Society is trying to help put a stop to it. Michael Vick is lucky that the NFL is even allowing him to play again. Of course, there should be stipulations for him. Maybe if he has seen dog-fighting for the cruelty that it is (as he says that he has), he can help convince impressionable kids that look up to him not to engage in it. The Humane Society needs free publicity so as to get the word out that it is a felony and against the law to fight dogs, and if you do it, you will get prison time.
