I am a subscriber to the News-Capital by mail. In the Sunday 9-6 edition, regarding the article concerning the “controversy” over the president’s speech to school children, how would anyone think a speech in which President Obama encourages children to stay in school and work toward good marks is somehow negative?
I never ceased to be amazed by the ignorance and prejudice displayed by the majority of my fellow Oklahoma citizens. All any politician needs for a platform in this state is the 3 G’s – Love God, Love Guns, and Hate Gays.
How could people be so totally uninformed?
