Editor: Who's in charge of you?

You don’t need that! We have been hearing a lot of that lately, mostly by the left, but also by the right. They are mostly talking about semi-automatic rifles and large-capacity magazines this time. Of course, we don’t need them.

What else do you want to be told you don’t need? Large soft drinks, fatty foods, and the list goes on and on. We all own stuff we don’t need but we want and have for whatever reason; it is not up to others, and especially the government, to determine.

As for gun control, if one is truly honest about it, no amount of gun control is going to prevent the type of incidents this is all about.

The founding fathers did not include the Second Amendment to protect keeping arms for hunting or target shooting. It was to provide protection from a tyrannical government such as the one they left.

Your spouse and your doctor should be the only ones in your life to suggest what you need!

There are plans to cut expenses of government, yet cuts aren’t always justified and if they affect people directly, there is a lot of unhappiness. Plans to close the Social Security office in Hugo is a recent example.
