McALESTER —
The Meeting Place will host dinner theater performances by the McAlester Community Theatre on Friday and Saturday at starting at 6 p.m.
The play will be “Red, White and Tuna” about a small town in Tuna, Texas.
Director Shelly Walker said there are 18 characters, who will meet up in Tuna and the characters are played by 10 actors and actresses.
“It’s very funny,” Walkers said. “Many of the actors and actresses have multiple rolls.”
She said there will be men dressed like women and women dressed like men. Tickets can only be purchased at The Meeting Place. The tickets are $25 for front row and $20 for gallery. The meal will be buffet style.
Walker said the event will be a lot of fun and urges the community to come out.
