Visit where America was born

After watching the political conventions of the past two weeks, aren’t you excited about the prospects of our great country? Would you like to see the places that served as a stage for the founding of this nation?

The Historic America tour allows you to celebrate some of the most historically significant locations in our country. I suggest taking this trip in the fall and following it with a cruise up the East Coast for a breathtaking view of the fall foliage. It will be the trip of your lifetime, experienced right here in the good old USA.

You arrive in our nation’s capital, Washington, D.C., and stay overnight in the historic Hotel Washington. The next day you will begin your exploration of the White House, the Supreme Court, Embassy Row, Arlington Cemetery, and the Library of Congress.

The next morning you travel to Mount Vernon, home of George Washington. Touring his famous Potomac River home will allow you to step back in time and re-visit the service of this inspired leader.

You will continue to the living history museums at Jamestown and Williamsburg. You’ll even dine in a tavern. Tonight you bed down at the Williamsburg Hospitality House.

Thank goodness you have another day to spend in Williamsburg. Life in the 18th century was no cake walk, but there is plenty of 21st century shopping, recreational activities, and restaurants to keep you comfortably entertained.

You will see the large plantations and the state capital of Richmond, St. John’s Church and more as you motorcoach between Williamsburg and Richmond.

From Charlottesville you will tour the scenic Sky Line Drive in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah National Park and the historic Gettysburg Civil War Battlefield.

You will tour Amish country, and Philadelphia, where you will see the Liberty Bell, Independence National Historic Park, and the National Constitution Center, which are all within walking distance of the magnificent bell.

After this fantastic, riveting, and inspiring tour, you will drive to New York City, where you board the Caribbean Princess for a seven day cruise that will allow you unpack once, and see that famous New England fall foliage in a way that is simply breathtaking.

You’ll stop in the capital of Nova Scotia, Halifax, and view Peggy’s Cove lighthouse, one of the most recognizable in the world. Beautiful shoreline, friendly people, it will be a marvelous day in Halifax.

You’re going to love the wildlife in St. John, New Brunswick, where you can tour the Bay of Fundy.

You return to NYC, from where you will fly home and begin downloading hundreds of gorgeous pictures and telling all of your friends about your incredible trip.
