McALESTER —
Flynn Donoho is bicycling across the country to raise help fight cancer and now he has made his way through McAlester.
His trip has been documented through out the last year or more in various newspapers across the country from his starting point in Huntington Beach California to a recent stop in North Carolina.
He’s said he’s riding all these miles in an effort to raise money via the American Cancer Society’s website, in honor of friends and family members who have died of cancer.
Sleeping in his small tent at night, Donoho said he doesn’t worry about his next meal or where he will lay his head.
“I ride on the faith of the Lord,” Donoho said. He calls himself a name based on his faith. “I am a FROG which means “fully relying on God.”
