McALESTER —
The families of Stephanie Shafer and Michael Giacomo announce their marriage on Sept. 22, 2012.
The ceremony and reception took place at Rotary Park in McAlester and was officiated by Deborah Hackler.
The Whistle Stop Bistro catered the event with Ralph Cox and guests providing musical entertainment.
The bride is the daughter of Ronda Shafer and granddaughter of Venita Clements, both of Bugtussle.
She is a graduate of McAlester High School and the University of Central Oklahoma and currently works as the executive director of Pride In McAlester.
The groom is the son of Cindy Fagundes, Eddie and Angelia Giacomo and the grandson of Florence Giacomo, all of McAlester.
He graduated from Haileyville High School and works as a Technician at Duraline Corporation.
