McALESTER —
Joe and Marilyn Burch, of Sayre, have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Abigail Grace Burch, to Tony Jack Barrier.
The ceremony and reception will take place Dec. 15, 2012, at Castle Falls in Oklahoma City.
Barrier is a 1997 graduate of Hartshorne High School. He is employed at Tinker AFB in Midwest City as a federally licensed Aircraft Technician, where he has been for the last 10 years.
He is the proud son of Alvera “Chee Chee” Ervin, of Hartshorne, and Ralph Barrier, of McAlester. He is the grandson of the late Hawk and Josephine Ervin, of Hartshorne, and the late Willie Olivier and Mary Mae Barrier. Tony is a member of LifeChurch in Oklahoma City.
Abby Burch graduated from Sayre High School in 2000 and is a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She is a National Board Certified teacher at Barnard Elementary in Tecumseh where she has taught first grade for the past six years.
She is the granddaughter of Mary Naylor, of Stillwater, and the late Ken Naylor. She is also the granddaughter of the late Donald and Glenna Mae Burch, of Sayre.
