McALESTER — Dennis and Jamie Hartley, of Columbia, Mo., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Nicole Hartley, to Benjamin Lee Sauro, son of Michael and Christine Sauro, of McAlester.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Linda and Larry Murrell, of Hallsville, Mo.; Larry Nichols, of Harrisburg, Mo., and Donald Hartley and the late Wanda Hartley, of Columbia, Mo.

She is a 2003 graduate of Hickman High School and also graduated from Columbia College in 2009 with an Associate of Science degree in human services. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in human services. She is employed as a personal finance officer at Missouri Credit Union in Columbia, Mo.

The prospective groom is the grandson of John and Lucille Mathews and Annie Sauro and the late Michele Sauro, all of Vandergrift, Pa.

He is a 2001 graduate of Savanna High School and also graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in business management and a minor in marketing.

He is currently employed as a patient service representative at the Missouri Orthopedic Institute in Columbia, Mo.

A wedding ceremony is scheduled Dec. 10, 2011, at 5 p.m. at Firestone Baars Chapel in Columbia, Mo., with Brother David Schawo officiating.
