McALESTER —
On Jan. 15, Gracie (Bullard) O’Neal, of McAlester, celebrated her 80th birthday with her family and friends at the Masonic Lodge on North Main Street.
O’Neal was born on Jan. 10, 1932, to Sam and Ada Noble in Gowen, Okla. The Nobles, now passed, had 10 children, including Gracie.
O’Neal celebrated her birthday with many of her friends and family, including her husband John O’Neal. The O’Neals will be celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary in February.
Gracie O’Neal has one daughter, Dianne Isbell; two grandsons, Marty and wife Paula, and Marlan Isbell; and two great grandchildren, Miranda and Marvin Isbell, all of McAlester. Her sisters, Pearl Baucom and Leota McDaniel, and husband Dave, all of McAlester, also joined in the celebration.
She was very surprised, she said, by the party her family threw for her 80th birthday.
