Stephen and Cindy Smith, McAlester, announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsey Beth Smith, to Robert Wade Miller.
The bride is the granddaughter of Weldon and Shirley Smith, McAlester, and the late Stanton and Lily Nell Jones.
A 2004 graduate of McAlester High School, Smith attended East Central University in Ada, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She is a teacher with McAlester Public Schools.
The groom is the son of Robert and Carolyn Miller, Canadian.
A 2001 graduate of Canadian High School, he attended Oklahoma State University, graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources. He is employed as a Logistics Management Specialist with the U.S. Army Defense Ammunition Center.
The wedding ceremony will be held Nov. 21, 2009, at the Grand Avenue Methodist Church, McAlester, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Charles Saviers officiating.
