McALESTER — Paul Fields, 58, of Krebs, died Nov. 19, 2012, at a local nursing center.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in McAlester.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester.

Paul Matthew Fields was born on April 24, 1954, in McAlester to Emery I. and Mary (Silva) Fields. He grew up and has lived in Krebs all his life. He was a painter by trade and worked as a house painter in this area for a number of years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Krebs

He was survived by his mother, Mary, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law Paul D. and Julie Fields, of Napa, Calif.; four grandchildren, three brothers and sisters-in-law Charles and Myra Fields, of Calhoun, Ga.; Tony and Margaret Fields, of McAlester; Tom and Cheryl Woods, of Edmond; one sister and brother-in-law Carlotta and Mel Priddy, of McAlester; several nieces and nephews.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Hospice of McAlester at P.O. 1333, McAlester, OK 74502.
