McALESTER —
Pat (Vassar) Brown, 83, of McAlester, died Friday, March 8, 2013, in McAlester.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in McAlester. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester.
She was born Dec. 29, 1930, in Tulsa. She worked many years as an LPN at McAlester Regional Hospital.
She enjoyed her Saturday evenings playing bingo and an evening of cards with friends.
Survivors include her sons, Jim Vassar, of McAlester, and Lloyd Vassar, Yuma, Ariz.; granddaughters, Lora Vassar, Albuquerque, N.M., Julia Vassar Sampson, Lexington, Ky., and Christy Vassar Bates, of Oklahoma City; grandson, David Vassar, of Oklahoma City, and great-granddaughter, Adelyn Bates, of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rayanne Vassar, Sacramento, Calif.
