UPDATE: One dead in copter crash
A patient picked up by an EagleMed helicopter dispatched from McAlester died Tuesday night after the helicopter crashed soon after takeoff at the Choctaw Nation Health Care Center in Talihina.
A flight nurse aboard the helicopter was listed in critical but stable condition Wednesday afternoon, according to EagleMed. -
Car overturned on U.S. Highway 69
Tuesday, the McAlester News-Capital was at the scene of a car accident where the vehicle overturned into the median of U.S. Highway 69, four miles south of Savanna, at about 5 p.m. Tuesday (June 11, 2013).
This morning Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that the accident was a non-injury acccident.
